Construction activities this summer/fall in our area to be aware of
June 16, 2010
Dear Alderman Connelly,
I have provided an update on construction activities in the Old Banff coach Road area: June 7 thru 21st: Three construction activities involving work on watermains
- Patterson Blvd and Patina Drive SW (minor, localized traffic disruption; 2 days duration)
- Old Banff Coach Road, between Coach Hill Road and Patterson Blvd SW (traffic disruption on Old Banff Coach Road; Two-way traffic will be maintained; 3 days duration)
- Old Banff Coach Road, at Patrick Street SW (traffic disruption on Old Banff Coach Road; Two-way traffic will be maintained; 2 days duration)
Asphalt overlay will follow, along Old Banff Coach Road, between June 28 and July 30th. The paving will be along the pipe alignment, between Coach Hill Road and Patrick Street.
Old Banff Coach Road Feedermain Phase 2 construction will begin in late July. This will include installation of 1800 metres of 900mm Feedermain, between Patrick Street and 85 St SW. This work will complete the dedicated water feed to the Broadcast Hill reservoir. Work is to be complete in November 2010.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
