The Coach Hill/Patterson Heights Community Association held our annual free Stampede Breakfast yesterday morning and it was a grand success!  We had more than one thousand people attend our breakfast!

We would like to take this moment to thank the many people and organizations that helped make this function run smoothly:

- Arlington Realty/Coach Hill Plaza for letting us take over a significant portion of the parking lot

- QuinnCorp Communities for the barricades, donation and the volunteers

- Schooners Neighbourhood Pub for cooking the sausages for us, allowing the band to set up on their patio and use their electricity (thanks Sherri and Diane)

- Rod Warnock and the Bottom Dollar Band for providing the entertainment

- Tim Horton's truck for the hot coffee on a morning that started off chilly

- Springfree Trampolines for keeping the children smiling

- Liquor Depot for donating a gift card for our member draw

- 7-11 for the slurpee coupons

- Edward Jones for the volunteers (thanks Alexis and Susan)

- The Blue Door on 85th St. for donating a gift basket for our member draw and for volunteering Bruce to help us flip pancakes

- The Vin Room on 85th St. for donating a gift basket for a general raffle and for volunteers (thanks Phoebe)

- Global Pet Foods on 85th St. for volunteering Al to help us with the pancakes

- Calgary CO-OP on 85th St. for the gift card

- Sobey's in Strathcona for the gift card

- Councillor Richard Pootmans, MLA Deborah Drever and federal Conservative candidate Ron Liepert for serving us a tasty breakfast

- The 67th Rangers, Sarcee Hills District Girl Guides for helping to clean up the tables and collect all the recyclables (thanks Arzmund)

- The many volunteers from our community who made the tremendous effort to help out today without whom we would not be able to run this event

- And last but certainly not least, the CHPH Board would like to personally thank Nancy Plato for her hard work and dedication to making this event a success!
