Calgary’s 20-Minute Makeover 2012

May 23, 2012 2:51 PM | Leann Hackman-Carty
From Wednesday, June 6 to Saturday, June 9, 2012, Calgarians are invited to participate in a city-wide litter cleanup. If each of us spends just 20 minutes picking up litter in public spaces, we will all benefit from a cleaner, safer city.

Grab garbage bags and gloves and clean up a boulevard, back alley or park – any public space that would benefit from a few minutes of special attention. Deposit collected litter in your regular garbage.

Be part of building stronger communities! Individuals and families, neighbours, schools, corporate and community groups are all welcome to participate.

Join the challenge by going to our sign up page and be counted! Why not consider making the 20-Minute Makeover one of your 3 Things for Calgary by posting your before and after photos on the 3 Things for Calgary website.
All participants will be entered in a draw to win prizes provided by GLAD.
